How to draw a Dolphin – Step by Step

Learn how to draw a dolphin – outline dolphin drawing sketch – step by step tutorial guide for beginners.

What You Will Need

• An A4 size plain white paper.
• A pencil.
• An eraser.

Please note: use a light HB pencil to draw all the shapes. Once it is perfect, you can add a second layer with a dark tone. For this tutorial purpose, I’m using the dark outline.

Step 1: Draw a curve line

Step 2: Draw a small curved line for the mouth area

Step 3: Draw another curved line like this

Step 4: Draw a curved line for the mouth upper part

Step 5: Draw a curve line for the lower part of the mouth

Step 6: Draw a curve line for the jaw part

Step 7: Draw a big curve line for the lower part of the dolphin body

Step 8: Draw a big curve line for the upper part of the dolphin body

Step 9: Draw the dolphin tail like this

Step 10: Draw another tail like this

Step 11: Draw the dolphin eye

Step 12: Draw the fin like this

Step 13: Draw another side of the fin like this

Step 14: Draw the upper fin like this
