How to draw a neuron or nerve cell (Bipolar nerve cell)
Learn how to draw a Bipolar nerve cell or neuron anatomy structure outline drawing step-by-step tutorial guide for science students.
What You Will Need
- An A4 size plain white paper.
- A pencil.
- An eraser.
Please note: use a light HB pencil to draw all the shapes. Once it is perfect, you can add a second layer with a dark tone. For this tutorial purpose, I’m using the dark outline.
Step 1: Draw an oval with the opened area at the top and bottom.
Step 2: Draw the two curved parallel lines at the top and bottom as in the image below.
Step 3: Start to draw the nerve root like in the image below for the bottom area.
Step 4: Draw the nerve root for the top area.
Step 5: Draw an oval shape in the neuron.
Step 6: Draw a black spot in the neuron.
Step 7: Draw the myelin sheath shapes like in the image below.
Step 8: Add black spots at the center of the myelin sheath.
Step 9: Erase any dirty lines and add a dark tone to the Bipolar nerve cell drawing.
